Responsibilities

Primary Function

Ensure compliance and conformance for overall equipment buyoff and intermediate checks in the areas of Reliability and Environmental Testing. Own and manage the overall lab equipment buy-off and intermediate check methodology.

Specific Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible for Hardware Test Center’s:
• Lab equipment buyoff
• Lab equipment Intermediate Check
• Lab equipment calibration
• Lab ambient management
• Lab expansion, re-layout, and consolidation activities
• Lab 5S and good practices proliferation
• Enhance own technical skills and knowledge in Safety/EMC/ETM areas to support lab operations
• Work on continuous improvement for lab efficiency and effectiveness
• Ensure readiness of lab supplies and consumables for ongoing operations
• Guide the team on equipment buyoff and intermediate check methodologies
• Ensure lab readiness for audits
• Collaborate with engineering team on equipment tests and alternative test methods
• Work on assigned projects as needed
• Manage scheduled equipment calibration and out-of-tolerance findings
• Adhere to ISO17025 requirements to ensure lab compliance
• Improve operation output through test time studies to reduce turnaround time
• Classify shipments appropriately
