A leading recruitment company in Asia Pacific seeks a Process Engineer cum Production Line Supervisor. This role involves leading a production team, ensuring process consistency, and coordinating operations on the production floor. Ideal candidates will have a degree in a related field and be adept at problem-solving and communication. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply!
Lead the Production Team
Supervise Line Leaders and Production Assistants, guiding them to meet daily output targets and maintain efficient production lines.
Ensure Process Consistency
Ensure adherence to the latest process updates and safety procedures, similar to a process engineer maintaining SOPs and quality standards.
Coordinate Shift Operations
Oversee shift handovers to prevent downtime, troubleshoot on-the-spot issues, schedule workers, and ensure raw materials are ready, optimizing resources to avoid delays or shortages.
Monitor Production Performance
Review WIP reports and output data to analyze line efficiency and identify improvement areas.
Maintain 5S and SOP Compliance
Enforce clean, organized, and safe working conditions, maintaining process discipline and lean practices.
Collaborate with Support Teams
Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and engineering departments as needed, conduct daily team briefings, track performance, handle minor conflicts, motivate staff, and manage job rotations.
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
Relevant experience is advantageous, but fresh grads with a management mindset are welcome.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin is a bonus.
Enjoy managing both people and machinery.
Prefer hands-on work on the production floor over desk work.
Aspire to move into team leadership or operations roles.
Enjoy solving real-time production issues rather than just designing or planning processes.
