Ansell is looking for a Process Engineer to join our team in Malacca, Malaysia. In this position, you will play a vital role in managing complex automation systems to improve existing systems, create new ones, and conduct rigorous testing to ensure top performance, including providing user training.

What will your role involve?

  • Ensure processes operate within defined specifications and follow correct QA procedures when deviations occur.
  • Maintain and update centerlines and logs to improve process quality.
  • Monitor centerlines and include them in relevant checklists.
  • Analyze data related to line structure to make effective decisions in Direction Settings.
  • Identify process losses and implement solutions to overcome them.
  • Collaborate with line management to prioritize and implement improvements.
  • Participate in daily direction-setting processes, report results, and address issues.
  • Manage critical daily systems such as center-lining (run-to-target).
  • Standardize equipment and processes, manage change systems, and update control strategies and procedures as needed.
  • Share learnings across processes, modules, and plants, and provide training on process/equipment changes.
  • Participate in planned stops and RCOs, and improve RCO processes.
  • Build process capability and control through SPC systems.
  • Lead troubleshooting of process failures and process benchmarking initiatives.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop new standards.

What qualifications do you need?

Bachelor’s Degree in Polymer Science, Rubber Technology, Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry.

Strong statistical and data analysis skills.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Technical and mechanical knowledge of basic line equipment.
