• Follow up and ensure smooth mass production with cost efficiency.
• Lead and monitor new project FA mould trial and develop standards.
• Improve and modify the production process.
• Initiate problem-solving and troubleshooting activities.

Job description

Preferable experience in rubber and molding background, knowledge of LSR (Liquid Silicone Rubber), rubber injection, plastic injection, rubber compression, rubber compounding, rubber border, and plastic exclusion is an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities

• Follow up and ensure smooth mass production with cost efficiency.
• Lead and monitor new project FA mould trial, submission, and develop standards (VTC), inspection standards, WI, etc.
• Improve and modify the production process.
• Initiate problem-solving and troubleshooting activities/processes to reduce production-related problems and delays.
• Involvement may begin at any step from pilot run to full-scale manufacturing.
• Assist superiors in controlling and meeting quality and productivity requirements.
• Support QA in ISO implementation and requirements.
• Train team leaders or supervisors in new WI, processes, and ISO requirements.
• Assist superiors with lab activities or additional processes/equipment when required.
• Liaise with other HODs on process or quality abnormalities and delivery requirements.
• Monitor high rejection items and work to solve or reduce rejects through cross-functional teams.
