Job summary

Job description

1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree or equivalent.

2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in process engineering, with experience in bending processes in a metal fabrication environment.

3. Able to start immediately.

4. Good written and oral English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.

5. Fast learner with initiative to solve problems.

6. Proactive and reliable individual.

7. Occasional travel to supplier sites, customer locations, or other company facilities may be required.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Developing, configuring, and optimizing industrial processes from inception through to start-up and mass release (MR).
  2. Evaluating existing manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  3. Designing and implementing improvements to products, processes, materials, or equipment to increase yield and enhance utility, quality, reliability, or cost-effectiveness.
  4. Utilizing data analysis and process simulations to develop solutions that improve process performance.
  5. Developing best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and output quality.
  6. Managing cost and time constraints.
  7. Developing and maintaining detailed process documentation, including SOPs and process flow diagrams.
  8. Collaborating with design, quality, and production teams to implement process changes and improvements.
  9. Providing training and support to production staff on new processes, equipment, and best practices.
