Process Engineer

· Design new and improve existing manufacturing processes.

· Ensure processes comply with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

· Support Production on all technical and process tasks.

· Improve efficiency, reduce costs, enhance productivity, and maximize profitability.

Qualifications & Skills

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.

· Good command of spoken and written Bahasa Malaysia & English.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Experience with manufacturing processes such as injection molding, CNC machining, casting, or additive manufacturing is highly desirable.

· Good computer knowledge.

· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Familiarity with design of experiments (DOE), internal testing, and process validation methodologies.

· Certification in Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt), or similar quality improvement methodology is a plus.

· Familiarity with environmental and safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Hands-on approach.

· Proactive and “can-do” attitude.

· Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 procedures.

· Design and develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment, and conferring with equipment vendors.

· Improve production efficiency by analyzing current processes, products, workflows, space requirements, and equipment layout.

· Plan, schedule, and manage projects related to process improvement and implementation.

· Ensure product and process quality by designing testing methods, testing finished products and process capabilities, establishing standards, and confirming manufacturing processes.

· Troubleshoot product, process, or machine issues and propose countermeasures.

· Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs, reviewing production schedules, and estimating future requirements.

· Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

· Maintain product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.

· Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services, following manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures.

· Develop and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM).

· Develop and maintain documentation including Work Instructions, process flow, standards, etc.

· Be aware of and manage processes that may affect significant aspects and legal compliance.

· Communicate environmental policy and objectives to subordinates.

· Contribute to the achievement of environmental management programs.

· Develop and conduct design of experiments/internal testing.

· Comply with 5S standards.
