- Develop detailed 2D and 3D process drawings, including Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), process flow diagrams, and layout plans, using CAD software.
- Collaborate with process engineers and other disciplines to ensure design coherence and compliance with project specifications.
- Revise and update drawings based on engineering feedback and project requirements.
- Maintain and organize drawing records, ensuring adherence to quality standards and documentation procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of material take-offs (MTOs) and support procurement activities with accurate design information.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of drafting practices.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant CAD software.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in drafting within the oil & gas or petrochemical industry.
- Familiarity with industry standards and practices related to process design and drafting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
