Process Development Engineer page is loaded
The Process Development Engineer is responsible for process development to meet development project functional requirement specification (FRS) and excellent for manufacturing.
What you will do:
Develop and characterize for new process technology.
Responsible to ensure technical communication and information flow within the project team and guiding technical discussions on die attach clip attach (DACA) and wire bond (WB) topics.
Conduct competitor benchmarking and technology studies to input on Nexperia package roadmap.
Technical input for assembly process / equipment solutions for assigned new products or platform.
Able to articulate wafer metallization process and utilize wafer knowledge to achieved optimized process.
Provide technical solution starting from development to establish robust package manufacturability and reliability.
Provide technical support on DACA and WB topics for both internal and external customer.
Demonstrate technical leadership in subject matter and drive process challenges with cross site members.
What you will need:
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field.
At least five (5) years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
Skillful on front of line (FOL) assembly processes like wafer dicing / die bond / clip bond / flux clean / wire bond / AOI.
Familiar with Six Sigma, FMEA, DOE, and statistical analysis techniques.
Experienced with copper clip bonded packages.
Skilled in statistical analysis, quality control, and problem-solving tools such as DOE, SPC, FMEA, 8D, and Minitab.
Proficient in Six Sigma methodologies.
Proficient communication skills in English. Additional languages, such as Chinese, are also welcome, as there will be frequent liaison with team members in China for collaboration.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, including teamwork and team building (if applicable).
Driven to solve problems with a quick response to both internal and external customers.
