Job description

Drive innovation while continuously improving to enhance efficiency in new and existing manufacturing processes.

Provide support to improve production performance and troubleshoot issues.

Support operational activities to enhance plant availability and production effectiveness.

Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with ISO 14001 (Environmental) and ISO 9001 (Quality) management systems.

Ensure all processes adhere to environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Assist in procuring plant and work-related equipment, tools, spare parts, and safety products.

Manage projects, oversee timelines, budgets, and deliverables.

Review processes and operations to enhance safety. Create, revise, and maintain detailed process documentation for training and compliance.

Conduct safety reviews and risk assessments to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Diagnose issues and develop corrective and preventive plans for customer complaints and non-conformance reports.

Maintain up-to-date departmental procedures and controlled documents.

Recommend corrective measures to the Manager to improve efficiency, quality, and operational economy.

Provide consultation and assist in the selection and installation of new equipment for capital projects.

Perform engineering analysis and provide recommendations for problem-solving and efficiency improvements, addressing quality, safety, and environmental concerns, including conceptual and detailed design development, root cause analysis, and interim solutions to maintain safe plant operations.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with copper chemicals, polyaluminium chloride production, and industrial hazardous waste management is an advantage.

Working hours / Location / Benefits:

  • 5-day workweek with one Saturday per month (8:30 am to 2:30 pm).
