The PgP5 Plant is Bosch Group’s newest expansion in Malaysia, a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan, Penang. Construction began in May 2021, with the first production series expected in 2023. This expansion aims to meet the forecasted growth in semiconductor components, supporting Bosch’s Dresden facility in Germany by increasing capacity for the final testing phase of semiconductors and sensors. The plant will also include R&D and training facilities.
