PgP5 Plant, Bosch Group’s newest expansion in Malaysia, is a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan, Penang. Construction began in May 2021, with production starting in 2023. The plant focuses on final testing of semiconductors and sensors, primarily those manufactured at Bosch’s Dresden facility in Germany. It will also house R&D and training facilities.

Job Description

• Perform maintenance according to the maintenance plan on tilt table and calibration.
• Analyze downtime reasons of equipment, and carry out mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs. Release equipment according to engineering specifications.
• Localize failures on measurement boards and PCBs, and repair boards.
• Align equipment mechanically and electrically according to supplier specifications.
• Adapt and extend circuit diagrams based on engineering specifications.
• Coordinate with equipment suppliers regarding appointments and technical questions. Monitor due dates and engage in technical discussions with suppliers and engineering teams.
• Develop measures to reduce failures, improve quality and output, and reduce costs in collaboration with engineering.
• Analyze failures on carriers and perform repairs. Maintain carriers.
• Commission carriers according to specifications.
• Coordinate all changes with lead plant engineering.
• Take responsibility for 8D reports and dispose of lots accordingly.
• Train operators in coordination with Production Management.
• Work in production environment.
• Support FMEA and Control Plan activities.
• Ensure spare parts availability.
• Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
