PgP5 Plant, Bosch Group’s newest expansion in Malaysia, is a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan, Penang. Construction began in May 2021, with production starting in 2023. The plant focuses on final testing of semiconductors and sensors, primarily those manufactured at Bosch’s Dresden facility in Germany. It will also house R&D and training facilities.
