Job summary

Experior in Penang seeks a hands-on Prober Engineer to lead setup, qualification and maintenance of wafer probers for IC testing. You will coordinate installation, uptime, troubleshooting and continuous improvement to keep test operations reliable and efficient.

You will work with Test Engineering, Operations and vendors to build robust prober capabilities that support business growth and scalable manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in semiconductor wafer probing or prober engineering.
• Strong knowledge of probers, setup, troubleshooting and uptime improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead prober selection, procurement evaluation, installation, setup and qualification.
• Coordinate installation requirements including utilities, layout and interfaces.
• Maintain prober uptime through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Optimize prober performance, utilization, and throughput while reducing downtime.
• Collaborate with Test Engineering to ensure compatibility with ATE and probe cards.
• Coordinate with vendors on issues, maintenance, spare parts, and upgrades.
• Establish maintenance procedures, standards and performance monitoring.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and long-term scalability.
