We are looking for a motivated and skilled Private Cloud Developer to join Lenovo’s private cloud R&D team. This role will focus on developing and maintaining components of Lenovo’s private cloud platform, including compute, storage, and networking services based on open-source technologies. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on engineer with experience in virtualization, IaaS platforms, and cloud-native tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in the development of Lenovo’s private cloud platform, including modules such as compute orchestration, storage management, and network virtualization.

Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to implement scalable, high-performance infrastructure features.

Maintain and improve automation, monitoring, and deployment pipelines for private cloud services.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Investigate issues, debug production environments, and continuously improve system reliability.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- 3+ years of experience in infrastructure or cloud platform development.

- Proficient in Java, Python, or Go.

- Familiar with OpenStack, KVM, Ceph, or similar open-source private cloud technologies.

- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and other common databases.

- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD tools.

- Knowledge of DevOps practices and agile (Scrum) development.

- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

- Experience with infrastructure monitoring, automation, or system performance tuning is a plus.
