We are seeking an experienced, caring, and nurturing Private Childcare Specialist to provide dedicated care, guidance, and developmental support for two young children, aged 2 and 4, in a private residence.

The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in early childhood development and be able to plan structured daily routines, educational activities, meals, and age-appropriate learning experiences. The role focuses on creating a safe, stimulating, healthy, and supportive environment for the children.

Key Responsibilities

Provide attentive and responsible care for two children, aged 2 and 4.

Ensure the children’s safety, hygiene, comfort, and emotional well‑being.

Monitor their developmental progress and adjust activities and routines accordingly.

Support their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

Learning & Activities

Plan and implement a structured daily learning and activity schedule.

Organise age‑appropriate activities such as reading, storytelling, arts and crafts, and educational exercises.

Plan indoor and outdoor activities to encourage physical development and active play.

Encourage curiosity, creativity, and independent learning.

Meals & Daily Routine

Plan and prepare healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for the children.

Accommodate dietary requirements where necessary.

Maintain consistent routines for meals, naps, learning, playtime, and other daily activities.

Encourage healthy eating and good personal habits.

Keep the children’s bedrooms, play areas, toys, books, and personal belongings organised and tidy.

Monitor and manage childcare supplies and educational materials.

Communication with Parents

Provide regular updates on the children’s activities, development, and well‑being.

Highlight any concerns regarding their health, behaviour, or development.

Work closely with parents to maintain consistent routines and developmental goals.

Requirements

Proven experience caring for young children, preferably between the ages of 2 and 4.

Experience in childcare, early childhood education, preschool education, or a related role is preferred.

Good understanding of child development and age‑appropriate learning methods.

Able to independently plan and conduct educational and developmental activities.

Good organisational, communication, and multitasking skills.

Patient, responsible, attentive, and caring.

First Aid and CPR certification is an advantage, or willingness to obtain certification.

Qualifications

Diploma, degree, or certification in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field is preferred.

Able to communicate effectively in Mandarin and English, as both languages are used for day‑to‑day communication with the family and children.

Valid driving licence and own transportation are an advantage.
