Job summary

Standard Chartered in Malaysia seeks an experienced banking professional to support Relationship Managers and Priority/Affluent clients with sales fulfilment, servicing and operational support both remotely and in-branch. You will ensure excellent customer experience while complying with AML/CDD and bank policies.

Key responsibilities include onboarding documentation, dealing with client applications, cross-selling, educating clients on digital channels, and maintaining high standards in risk

Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ banking experience with knowledge of banking practices and products.
• Investment and insurance certifications and licences are required.
• Proven ability to manage sales and/or branch operations and deliver strong results.
• Ability to coach, motivate and lead branch team members at different levels.
• Strong customer service culture and handling complaints.

Responsibilities

• Proactively serve Priority / Affluent clients and support RMs with onboarding and documentation.
• Monitor client applications and ensure timely closure to meet turnaround times.
• Assist with sales fulfilment, activation activities and cross-selling initiatives.
• Educate clients on digital channels and migrate to online/mobile banking.
• Review Wealth Management documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Raise service requests and coordinate with middle/back office until closure.
• Maintain branch environment and uphold risk, compliance, and audit standards.
