Position: Photolithography Technical Competency
  • Experience with new module setup and qualification
  • Hands-on experience with Nikon stepper/scanner and Tel Track Act-8, including recipe creation and stepper job creation
  • Familiar with 0.11um technology node design rules and KrF RET
Major Job Description

Participate in development projects with R&D engineers to set up unit process recipes on available tools, BKM recipes, and process flows to meet development success criteria.

Engage in continuous improvement activities such as defect reduction and process stability enhancements.

Oversee overall yield improvement activities with the module and YE teams.

Collaborate with process engineers on process running conditions (DOE) versus tool capabilities.

Communicate effectively between Module, YE, R&D, QA, etc.

Work with YE, R&D, and CP to develop COT+ / CUSP process flows.

Major Responsibilities
Process Management
  • Set up new process recipes, provide recommendations, and integration guidelines to R&D engineers and module PEs for new development projects.
  • Coordinate new process or technology evaluations/discussions between module, YE, and R&D engineers.
  • Identify process limitations, assess manufacturability, and evaluate process integration margins on existing tools for new developments.
  • Pre-review and define COT+ / CUSP before evaluation starts.
  • Design DOE to address inline, PCM, or sort issues.
Yield Improvement
  • Utilize best known methods (BKM) recipes and process flows for production.
  • Reduce unnecessary process steps in production.
  • Participate in Task Force Teams (TFT) or involve PSM to resolve or improve current production issues.
  • Assist engineers in problem solving through DOE.
Position Requirements
  • Qualification: Bachelor of Science, Degree, Masters, or Doctorate in any engineering-related field.
  • Experience: Over 3 years in semiconductor industry, capable of handling a wide variety of problems.
  • Skills/Competencies: Recognized as a technical expert in the field, competent in handling routine and non-routine matters.
  • Wafer fab process recipe setup experience and hands-on skills specific to each headcount.
