In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Accurately identify customer needs and provide estimates for coordinated system solutions.
- Interact with customers, NI staff, external partners, and external suppliers to support the design, implementation, and sustainment of custom test solutions.
- Lead high-level collaborative design efforts for coordinated solutions.
- Ensure alignment with development processes and standard methodologies.
- Drive the development of reusable software to be applied by multiple projects.
- Review work quality and mentor less experienced engineers.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to develop efficient technical solutions to project challenges.
- Supervise the technical work for the given project, ensuring it meets quality standards.
- Serve as the technical lead in the design of systems, workflows, and architectures that enable the future state to be achieved using NI and NI ecosystem tools and offerings.
- Guide the introduction of new systems and workflows to achieve the customer's desired future state (business outcome).
- Provide training, mentoring, and development for new talent in the ADAS, VSE, EV Power Conversion, and Electronics spaces.
- Lead customer technical onsite tasks and help advance opportunities.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- BS degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in complex system or application development, system integration, and/or the test and measurements industry.
- Experience serving as a technical lead to release high-quality solutions or products.
- Proven technical leadership in planning, coordinating, specification development, requirements gathering, monitoring, quality assurance, and status reporting of technical work.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and ability to lead the resolution of critical issues and customer partner concerns through effective collaboration.
- Proven track record to use multiple programming languages (LabVIEW, C#, C++, Python, etc.) in software design and implementation.
- Familiarity with NI products and platforms such as LabVIEW, TestStand, VeriStand, LabVIEW RT/FPGA, and PXI/cRIO platforms.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with experience working directly with customers, engineers, and business partners.
- Availability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Deep understanding of electrical and electronics engineering principles related to test engineering.
- Experience with standard methodologies in crafting high-power panel systems that meet industry standards, safety laws, and certification requirements.
- Understanding of automotive communication networks and protocols.
- Solid understanding of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Electronic Control Units (ECUs) and sensors such as cameras, RADAR, LiDAR, and ultrasonic sensors.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
