Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy firm in Ipoh is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with at least 7 years of design experience in large scale projects such as hospitals and commercial developments. The ideal candidate will lead projects, supervise engineering teams, and ensure compliance with design criteria. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required, and a Registered PE is an advantage.

• Familiar with any or more of the following services: ACMV/FIRE PROTECTION/ HYDRAULIC /PLUMBING AND SANITARY for large scale building projects
• Registered PE will be favourably considered

Responsibilities

• Set design criteria, check design calculation and drawings
• Produce sketch drawings
• Assist in fee proposals
• Ensure documentation complies with Design Criteria / Client Brief / Approved Concept / Standards
• Attend design, clients, architects and site meetings
• Resolve technical problems during the project design and construction stages
• Lead projects and supervise a team of engineers
• Assist the Team Leader and Job Captain in the performance of their duties
