Job summary

Skill Quotient Technologies, a global cybersecurity-focused IT solutions leader, seeks a Principal Security Architect to lead security architecture across cloud, network, and product domains. You will drive secure design, governance, and lifecycle management while collaborating with internal teams and customers to enhance cybersecurity posture.

This contract role requires 5–10 years of senior-level experience in security engineering, architecture, and cloud security, with a focus on Azure/AWS

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of relevant experience at a Senior or Principal level in security engineering, security architecture or a cybersecurity related field.
• Proven expertise in cybersecurity domains including Azure and AWS Cloud Security, IAM, networking & integration architecture, application and data security, encryption, key management, cloud governance, access control and firewall configuration.
• Experience with IoT and OT technology and interoperability challenges; emphasis on architectural work and solution delivery in past projects.
• Experience in full product lifecycle and security software product launches.
• Experience in security operations and engineering lifecycle; strong background in large-scale distributed systems and platform architecture.

Responsibilities

• Architecture & Standards: Develop and maintain enterprise security architecture and reference models.
• Security Advisory & Governance: Provide guidance on secure solution design, lead reviews and governance participation.
• Solution Development & Support: Drive secure development and integration of IT solutions; support POC and UAT.
• Innovation & Emerging Technologies: Research and recommend emerging security tech; collaborate with experts to enhance capabilities.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal and external stakeholders to advance security initiatives.
• Knowledge Management: Document best practices and promote continuous learning in security architecture and engineering.
