Job Description
In your new role, you will:
- Work with design engineering to learn the test requirements of new products and technologies, develop DfT plans, and develop the test packages and processes required for high-volume manufacturing testing.
- Be responsible for test package development, including test hardware and software, new product characterization, pre-production, and qualification testing.
- Collaborate with ATE vendors to improve existing test systems and/or develop new ones to test our devices more efficiently and cost-effectively; evaluate and introduce new ATE instruments for improved cost and efficiency.
- Work with assembly test sites to ensure correct procedures are followed and that test equipment is well maintained and calibrated to national standards.
- Potentially travel overseas for training, product transfers, and releases.
Your Profile
You are best suited for this role if you have:
- A BSEE degree or equivalent experience.
- Over ten years of experience dealing with advanced ATE applications related to Power ICs and Power devices.
- Experience with Teradyne MicroFlex, ETS-88, ETS-364b, ETS-800, J750, and V93k test platforms (preferred).
- Knowledge of all electrical characteristics of ICs and Power MOSFETs.
- Working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes (Wafer Fab and assembly).
- Solid understanding of device physics and basic knowledge of IC reliability.
- Proficiency with schematic capture software for hardware solutions; Cadence Allegro experience is desirable.
- Strong test-programming skills, including experience in C/C++, VBasic, embedded programming, LabVIEW, and scripting languages.
- Hands-on experience with electrical measurements using signal generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and automation of bench tests.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation skills).
- Assertiveness and a results-oriented mindset.
- Team player with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
