Job summary

Qualifications

• University graduate with MSc or BSc in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Experience in Semiconductors/Electronics/RFID/LED industrial machinery.
• Solid experience in PDM/PLM software, preferably Teamcenter.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Altium Designer; knowledge of Arduino/SPICE/C++ is a plus.
• High level knowledge in DFM, FMEA, Six Sigma, 8D and Poka-Yoke methods.
• Knowledge of ISO, IATF, SEMI, IEC, CE, UL, OHSAS, EMC, ESD standards.
• Experience in component engineering for cost reduction and end-of-life replacement.
• Excellent technical troubleshooting, decision-making and creative-thinking skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and able to deliver results through determination and teamwork.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Flexibility to travel overseas and to HK and Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical assemblies of industrial manufacturing equipment and its control system.
• Develop solutions to improve equipment performance and resolve structural issues.
• Work with customers to define requirements and study feasibility.
• Lead electrical development activities, estimating time and cost.
• Conduct pre-studies and risk assessments to verify concepts and adjust designs.
• Collaborate in a technical team to meet system performance, including modelling, prototyping, testing and release.
• Manage electrical design specifications and related documents.
• Support customers and field service engineers on optimization and troubleshooting.
• Perform component, module and system failure analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Manage electrical engineering processes in ITEC Malaysia facilities.
