Job Description
  • Successfully execute and/or monitor production/project tasks assigned to the Statistical Operations function
  • Understand the end-to-end NIQ process flow and enhance either the ways of working or process execution steps to nullify chances of errors or quality escapes.
  • Participate in development and drive standardization and process efficiency for method related process / application.
  • Strong communication skills - Engage with cross functional teams (Data Acquisition, Data Science, Reference Data, Input Validation, Data Output, etc) to collect information and coordinate tasks to improve data quality and drive continuous business process improvements.
  • Operate in a virtual/multi-cultural environment, liaising with stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Consistently manage project timelines, while ensuring strict adherence to the process flow and process checklist during execution.
Qualifications
  • Statistics/Mathematics/Engineering Graduate with minimum 4 years of professional experience
  • Strong base of Statistical Concepts, including but not limited to sampling techniques, statistical estimation, probability and central limit theorem
  • Proficiency in software and tools, such as Python, SQL, Excel, and data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Excellent written and oral English communication, with ability to explain complex logic in simple words to the stakeholders
  • Ability to identify and solve problems and make decisions related to data processing, such as data inconsistencies or errors by having the right team involvement. Willingness to coach and up-skill new associates and peers.
  • Time Management: ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
