In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Creating and implementing a global strategy and collaboration model for custom mechanical commodities.
  • Establishing relationships on global, regional, and local levels to become a trusted advisor with stakeholders to ensure goals are aligned and met.
  • Identifying areas of opportunity and executing activities to fulfil cost, process, productivity, and sustainability goals.
  • Leading procurement negotiations, source-to-contract and supplier management activities which generate best-in-class outcomes.
  • Monitor market trends and assess potential risks and opportunities.
  • Building excellent supplier relationships whereby procurement is seen as a key decision-maker.
  • Maintaining knowledge of industry, market and business best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Evangelizing the NI culture, guiding principles & core values.

Who You Are:

The person who drives supplier performance, reducing total cost of ownership, and optimizing our supply chain process.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years' experience in a strategic Procurement role within a multinational organization; prior experience in managing the specialized commodities would be highly advantageous.

  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex projects with change management sensibilities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with good global cultural awareness.
  • Ability to influence, build relationships, and promote solutions without direct authority.
  • Proven supplier performance management skills.
  • Proven expertise in negotiating complex contracts in dynamic supply environments.
  • Financial acumen and demonstrated aptitude in analytics and decision-making.
