Job summary

Dell Technologies Malaysia is seeking a Principal Software Engineer-IT to lead automation and AI-enabled solutions across public cloud operations. You will design, implement, and support scalable, secure, and policy-driven cloud capabilities spanning AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.

You will collaborate with Cloud Platform, Security, Networking, and Operations teams to raise reliability and performance, while mentoring engineers and guiding architectural directions.

Qualifications

• Leads design and implementation of automation and AI-enabled solutions.
• Defines technical standards, patterns, and architectural approaches.
• Mentors and guides other engineers, including those transitioning via internal mobility.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain Python-based automation tools and services supporting Public Cloud operations.
• Build and manage Ansible playbooks, roles, and workflows for infrastructure and platform automation.
• Automate processes related to cloud provisioning, configuration management, validation, remediation, and reporting.
• Contribute to AI-enabled solutions such as chatbots, intelligent workflows, and self-service automation.
• Integrate automation solutions with CI/CD pipelines and internal enterprise platforms.
• Utilize cloud-native APIs and SDKs across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI to support automation use cases.
