The Primary Bahasa Teacher plans and teaches engaging Bahasa Melayu lessons that help learners develop confidence and competence in listening, speaking, reading and writing. The teacher understands the expected progression at each year level, checks what learners have learned and adapts teaching so that all learners, including those new to Bahasa, can make progress. The post works with Primary and Secondary colleagues to support a coherent transition into the Secondary curriculum. This is a classroom teaching role and does not include leadership or line management of the Languages Department.
