Job summary

Celestica in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia, invites a Customer Quote Advisor to provide product cost and pricing support for new and existing products. This role represents the first full level of specialization within the DEC - Decision Support function, applying standard policies and guiding pricing strategies across sites.

You will analyze cost drivers, develop responses for competitive quotations, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Six to eight years of relevant experience in cost/quote environments within manufacturing or EMS.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong costing and pricing experience with ability to train others.
• Experience with pricing processes and cost modelling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the implementation of Celestica approved cost models at all sites as appropriate.
• Develops and delivers training on cost models as required.
• Ensures consistent costing and pricing practices are used worldwide for same/similar customers.
• Supports new quote and re-pricing processes to develop competitive and profitable responses.
• Understands and communicates relative cost differences and the drivers of those differences.
