Job description

About the Role:

We are seeking a commercially driven and analytical Pricing Manager to join a leading company in the automotive industry. This role is instrumental in shaping pricing strategies, optimizing commercial terms, and supporting revenue-driving initiatives through data and insight. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in commercial strategy, a solid grasp of P&L, and excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed pricing and competitiveness analyses to support strategic recommendations that improve market position and profitability.
  • Define and implement localized price lists aligned with vertical pricing corridors and ensure consistency across all sales channels.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop Commercial Terms & Conditions (CTC) based on pricing insights and market trends.
  • Monitor sell-in campaign budgets and work with Business Market Leaders (BMLs) to design campaign mechanics that are competitive within the automotive landscape.
  • Ensure customer invoicing is accurate and aligned with agreed pricing structures and contractual terms.
  • Lead monthly CTC platform meetings and drive validation of strategic pricing decisions and business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Legal to structure customer contracts that include pricing clauses such as price adjustment mechanisms, inventory terms, and most-favored-nation agreements.
  • Equip sales teams with clear value messaging and pricing logic to communicate confidently with customers and dealer partners.
  • Support Key Account Managers in annual negotiations and contract development to ensure alignment with pricing strategies.
  • Roll out and manage dealer commissioning policies and ensure compliance and performance tracking.
  • Conduct profitability and value analyses to support operational and strategic decisions at local, regional, and global levels.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 2–3 years of working experience in a commercial strategy role (e.g. brand marketing, trade marketing, or revenue growth management).
  • Strong understanding of P&L with basic accounting knowledge (formal finance qualification not required, but should have studied accounting fundamentals).
  • Prior experience in pricing, revenue management, or commercial planning, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to convert data into actionable insights.
  • Proficient in working cross-functionally and communicating effectively across departments.
  • Familiarity with pricing systems, financial modelling, and reporting tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail, organized, and capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
