Pricing information & Purchasing Information records are the backbone of procurement, and the data are used by the entire Dyson organization. The role is an opportunity is to embark on an exciting and impactful journey to drive transformation and contribute to costs & value chain optimization. In this role, you will lead all operational & strategic activities, process & systems enhancements related to purchasing & pricing data foundation.
Key Accountabilities
Support operational & strategic billing & pricing cycle activities.
Troubleshoot and identify root cause of pricing data issue and get it resolved with relevant teams: Procurement, Finance, Logistics, etc.
Develop and implement strategies to recover costs associated with pricing gaps, such as overpayments or incorrect charges. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding pricing discrepancies and cost recovery efforts.
Drive & lead enhancement projects to billing & pricing processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.Support future development & evolution of the Purchasing Information Records system.
Constantly identify and implement, opportunities to upgrade pricing data records and simplify processes & operations.
Contribute to the Master Data Management initiative by ensuring the consistency, completeness, and correctness of Purchasing Information Records across all systems.
Leverage Purchasing Information Records to create data intelligence and develop analytics tools that can be used to add value to the top and bottom line.
Displays strong analytical skills and strategic thinking to translate insights into impactful initiatives within Procurement Operations Excellence.
Develop a data-driven culture in procurement by educating procurement colleagues and other stakeholders on master data management.
University degree or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Supply chain or other related field.
Previous Experience/exposure to Finance, Data Analytics or Supply Chain activities
High level of business and financial acumen
Willingness to transform, challenge the status quo and resilience in execution
Excellent project management from strategic thinking to operational execution
Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced, challenging environment
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:Ability to analyze complex data, identify patterns, and resolve intricate issues
3 - 5 years in an analytics capacity with experience with Business Intelligence Solutions.
Proficiency in using relevant systems like ERP, procurement platforms, and database management tools.
Strong Communication and Influence skills.
Strong financial & analytical skills
Fluent oral and written English
