Job Description

In this role, you will:

1. Conduct regular inspections, adjustments, and servicing of equipment to ensure smooth operation and prevent potential issues. Identify wear and tear before breakdown occurs.
2. Maintain accurate maintenance records, PM checklists, and history logs. Prepare maintenance reports, downtime analysis, and propose improvements.
3. Identify opportunities to optimize maintenance tasks to reduce costs, time, and equipment wear.
4. Enhance communication with subordinates, ensuring they understand instructions and perform tasks as directed.
5. Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and propose long-term solutions.
6. Monitor machine health and PM compliance effectiveness using KPIs such as MTBF and MTTR. Develop continuous improvement plans if targets are not met.

Your Profile

You are suitable for this role if you have:

• A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or relevant field.
• At least 5 years of experience in chemical dipping, water jet, or plating industry is advantageous.
• Understanding of equipment components and maintenance requirements.
