Job Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise, and implement the programme for the class in accordance with the centre’s policies and framework.
- Complete lesson plans and progress reports on children for each semester.
- Prepare a comprehensive developmental portfolio for each child.
- Maintain a high standard of professional competence through continual professional development.
- Foster a stimulating and conducive environment for the academic, creative, and critical learning of children.
- Manage all aspects of classroom management and ensure the safety and hygiene of the children.
- Collaborate closely with other teaching staff in carrying out duties.
- Build and maintain close partnerships with parents.
- Participate and support activities, including school events, marketing events, trainings, celebrations, and other duties assigned by the Centre Director.
Qualifications and Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a PERMATA/Diploma/Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent for Mandarin Teachers.
- Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in early childhood education, or applicable to fresh graduates.
- Passionate about early childhood education.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have a fun and good personality to handle young children and provide a positive preschool environment.
- Ability to create activities that encourage healthy growth.
- A caring and approachable nature.
