Job summary

Jora Malaysia is hiring a Preschool Mandarin Teacher in Kuala Lumpur. You will develop and deliver Mandarin language lessons for preschoolers using play-based learning, fostering creativity and character development.

The role requires a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and 3-5 years of relevant experience, with strong classroom management and bilingual communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• 3-5 years of proven experience as a Preschool Mandarin Teacher.
• Excellent Mandarin language instruction skills for young learners.
• Developing and implementing engaging, age-appropriate curriculum.
• Strong classroom management to foster a positive preschool environment.
• Solid understanding of child development principles for preschool settings.
• Ability to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia in addition to Mandarin.
• Passion for early childhood education and play-based learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging Mandarin language lesson plans for preschool-aged children using play-based methodologies.
• Create a nurturing, stimulating classroom environment encouraging participation, curiosity, and social-emotional growth.
• Manage classroom dynamics to ensure a safe, orderly learning space for all students.
• Assess and track progress in Mandarin language and overall development with regular parent/teacher updates.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan school events and parent-teacher conferences.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs and provide inclusive, individualized attention.
• Communicate updates to parents in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
