Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Preschool Mandarin Teacher in Kuala Lumpur to lead play-based Mandarin lessons for young children. The role requires a minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education and 3-5 years of proven experience.

You will develop engaging curricula, manage a positive classroom, and communicate with parents in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin. This on-site role is based in Kuala Lumpur, with standard teaching benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• 3-5 years of proven experience as a Preschool Mandarin Teacher.
• Excellent Mandarin instruction skills for young learners.
• Developing and implementing engaging, age-appropriate curriculum.
• Classroom management to foster a positive learning environment.
• Knowledge of child development principles and applying them in preschool settings.
• Ability to communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin with parents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Mandarin language lesson plans for preschoolers using play-based learning to foster creativity and character development.
• Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages active participation and social-emotional growth.
• Manage classroom dynamics to ensure safety, organization and positive learning spaces.
• Assess and track progress in Mandarin and overall development; provide regular parent feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan events, activities and parent-teacher conferences.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs and developmental stages.
