As QAQC Manager, you will lead our quality assurance and control efforts across multiple premix plants. You’ll build and maintain our QAQC framework, oversee a team of QAQC Assistants and Executives, and ensure every batch meets internal specifications, JKR requirements, and ISO 9001/14001 standards. This role reports directly to the HOD of Plant, Quarry, Production & QAQC

Key Responsibilities

QAQC System Development:

Design, implement, and refine QAQC procedures and standards across all plant sites.

Mentor QAQC Assistants and Executives in sample testing, plant inspections, and data analysis.

Ensure consistent application of quality protocols at Kota Tinggi, Kulai, and Batu Pahat.

Oversee asphalt design-mix trials and prepare JKR audit submissions.

Validate inspection reports, test results, and quality certificates for accuracy and completeness.

Production Monitoring & Improvement:

Supervise raw-material testing and production-process monitoring; analyse test data to identify deviations.

Lead investigations into product issues and drive corrective-action plans, process enhancements, and formula optimisations.

Compliance & Documentation:

Guarantee adherence to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements; liaise with external auditors as needed.

Maintain audit-ready records, ensuring all quality documentation is current, accurate, and accessible.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field

5+ years’ QAQC experience in asphalt or similar heavy-industry plants, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role

Strong knowledge of JKR specifications, ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 standards

Proven track record in mix design, quality auditing, and process-improvement initiatives

Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills
