We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Wealth and Personal Banking team as a Premier Relationship Director. This role involves defining, managing, and achieving divisional business targets in collaboration with colleagues.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • The role is client-facing, managing HSBC's relationships with the bank's highest value clients, specifically the Top Tier Premier segment, typically clients with >RM3 million investible assets.

  • Responsible for acquiring, developing, and retaining relationships with a portfolio of Top Tier Premier clients.

  • Build trusting relationships with existing and potential Top Tier Premier clients, helping them articulate their needs, and exceeding their expectations.

  • Get to know clients on both personal and professional levels to understand their short- and long-term financial goals. Use deep understanding of their situation and external market knowledge to challenge clients and provide financial advice.

  • Review the Top Tier portfolio regularly to identify opportunities to leverage HSBC’s capabilities across lines of business and geographies for the client’s benefit.

  • Increase client loyalty by meeting their needs directly or through effective collaboration with internal partners.

  • Understand and adhere to local and global compliance requirements.

  • Accountable for portfolio performance, ensuring it is managed effectively within the Wealth and Personal Banking Target Business Model (TBM) and aligns with the Top Tier Proposition as defined by HSBC Group.
