Wealth and Personal Banking is our new global business combining Retail Banking and Wealth Management; and Global Private Banking, to become one of the world’s largest wealth managers with USD1.4 trillion in assets. We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Wealth and Personal Banking team in the role of Premier Relationship Banker. The successful candidate will work with colleagues to define, manage, and achieve divisional business targets.

Principal Responsibilities:
  1. Manage, acquire, grow, and deepen Premier customers’ relationships through effective relationship management.
  2. Drive revenue and AUM growth expectations through holistic financial planning.
  3. Ensure a high level of sales and service of HSBC retail products based on needs-based selling.
  4. Refer mortgage business to Mortgage Arranger (MA).
  5. Ensure best practices in wealth sales are being referred to peers and others.
  6. Ensure compliance with products and sales policies, procedures, and guidelines set by the Bank and relevant authorities at all times.
Requirements:
  • Experience in relationship management with High Net Worth clients is preferred.
  • A recognized tertiary diploma or degree qualification.
  • Relevant licenses in marketing wealth and investment products such as PCE, TBE, CEILLI, FIMM, IPPC are required.
  • Evidence of a strong sales track record in insurance and investment products.
  • Sales-oriented, results-driven.
  • Highly skilled in influencing, networking, and portfolio management.
  • Fluent in spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarin/Cantonese is an advantage.
