About Wealth and Personal Banking

Wealth and Personal Banking is our new global business combining Retail Banking and Wealth Management; and Global Private Banking, to become one of the world’s largest wealth managers with USD1.4 trillion in assets. Position Overview

We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Wealth and Personal Banking team as a Premier Relationship Banker. The role involves working collaboratively to define, manage, and achieve divisional business targets.

Principal Responsibilities

  1. Manage, acquire, grow, and deepen relationships with Premier customers through effective relationship management.
  2. Drive revenue and AUM growth through holistic financial planning.
  3. Ensure high-quality sales and service of HSBC retail products based on needs-based selling.
  4. Refer mortgage business to Mortgage Arranger (MA).
  5. Promote best practices in wealth sales referrals to peers and other teams.
  6. Ensure compliance with all product and sales policies, procedures, and guidelines set by the Bank and relevant authorities.

Requirements

  1. Experience in relationship management of High Net Worth clients is preferred.
  2. A recognized tertiary diploma or degree qualification.
  3. Relevant licenses in marketing wealth and investment products such as PCE, TBE, CEILLI, FIMM, IPPC are required.
  4. Proven track record in sales of insurance and investment products.
  5. Sales-oriented with a results-driven approach.
  6. Strong influencing, networking, and portfolio management skills.
  7. Fluent in spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarin/Cantonese is an advantage.

Due to urgent hiring needs, candidates with immediate right to work locally and no relocation required will be prioritized.
