Job summary

Rapiscan Systems Sdn Bhd is seeking a production technician in Johor Bahru to perform machine set-up, troubleshooting, testing and quality checks. You will review materials issued for assembly and carry out duties as assigned by your supervisor.

You must manage tools/fixtures and maintain housekeeping on the production floor, following the provided work instructions. Candidates should have at least an SPM or Diploma in a mechanical field, be able to handle torque drivers and measurement tools,

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum SPM Certificate or Diploma in any mechanical field.
• Able to handle mechanical tools e.g torque drivers and measurement tools.
• Technician is required to have the ability to work with small & big parts or components.
• Strength to lift heavy items.
• Able to read documentation and operation instructions.
• Able to work overtime when necessary.
• Must be able to speak, understand & read English.
• Able to start work immediately.
• Renewable contract position.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine set-up, troubleshooting, testing and quality check on machine.
• Perform a check through on materials issued to them for assembly.
• Other add-on duties as per assigned by supervisor.
• Take responsibility for tools and fixtures provided in the production floor and also maintaining a good housekeeping within the group.
• Perform job based on the provided Work Instruction.
