Job summary

Estek Automation Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled Operator (Mechanical Assembly) to join our Batu Kawan, Penang manufacturing team. This full-time role focuses on precise mechanical assembly of components to meet quality standards and production schedules.

Qualifications

Experience operating mechanical assembly machinery in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
Experience using precision measurement tools such as calipers, gauges and micrometres.
Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
Able to work independently and as part of a production team.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor mechanical assembly machinery and equipment following procedures.
Assemble components and sub-assemblies per drawings and work instructions.
Perform quality checks to ensure conformance to standards.
Maintain records of output, defects and issues encountered.
Conduct routine maintenance and keep workstations clean and safe.
Troubleshoot minor issues and report major problems to supervisors.
Collaborate with team to meet production targets and timelines.
Follow health, safety, and company policies.
