Job summary

Ichor Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Fitter to set up, operate, and support CNC milling and turning processes for precision components. You will read engineering drawings and tolerances to ensure dimensions, tooling, and machine performance meet specs.

The role requires hands‑on fitting, deburring, and finishing with accurate measurement using calipers and micrometers, while maintaining safety and 5S standards. Team collaboration with engineers and inspectors is essential.

Qualifications

• Must read engineering drawings, tolerances and machining specs.
• Solid GD&T understanding and interpretation for fit, form and function.
• Proficient with vernier calipers, micrometers and height gauges.
• Able to perform basic fitting, deburring and component finishing.
• Good manual dexterity and steady hands to ensure precision.
• Able to work independently and as part of a production team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling and turning machines per work instructions.
• Perform tool setup, loading, tool changes and basic offset adjustments.
• Read and interpret drawings, dimensions and tolerances.
• Fit, deburr and finish machined components to spec.
• Measure parts using calipers, micrometers and gauges to verify accuracy.
• Identify and report machining issues and tool wear promptly.
• Maintain 5S in the workspace and ensure clean equipment.
• Collaborate with supervisors, programmers and inspectors to resolve issues.
