A leading telecommunications company is seeking a Sales Support Engineer to assist its sales team. The role involves developing technical pre-sales solutions, preparing documentation, and interacting with clients to ascertain their needs. The ideal candidate will possess a diploma and have a strong background in telecommunications, coupled with excellent communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.

To support the sales team in the qualification, analysis and presentation of PABX products and services to existing and prospective clients
Develop technical pre-sales solutions, support sales in tendering and bidding process, quotation and proposal preparation
Meet customers to understand user requirements and design solutions based on these requirements.
Prepare presentation materials and conduct professional demos to customers or at trade shows and conferences, when required
Discussed on technical issues with principal, supplier, project and service team in regards to system proposed
To prepare project related documentations and coordinate with clients/consultants/contractors on technical issues and project related matters.
Monitor progress and performance against the project plan; take action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays
Identify, develop, and gather the resources necessary to complete the project; Liaise with other operational areas in the organization (for example engineering, drafting, technical, service) to secure specialized resources and contributions for the project
Select, and manage the activities of outside contractors to ensure they are integrated into the project and that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service
Conduct project meetings and prepare regular reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Marketing /Telecommunication /Information Technology or equivalent.
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in related field.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and conversational skills; positive in learning
Fluent spoken and written English Language and Bahasa Malaysia
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Possess own transport and willing to travel
