PPC ASSISTANT MANAGER - PRODUCTION PLANNING & CONTROL

• Manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS), ensuring it aligns with customer orders and forecasts.
• Lead and support the MPC team for smooth planning and workflow.
• Work closely with customers on supply chain and production planning.
• Monitor Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and inventory to optimize efficiency.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics for timely deliveries.
• Improve production planning accuracy and efficiency.
• Analyze demand, production capacity, and supply risks to enhance operations.
• Prepare and review invoices, packing lists, and shipment schedules.
• Provide insights and reports on production performance to management.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives in planning processes.
• Train and develop the MPC team to improve performance.
• Manage unexpected production or delivery disruptions.
• Handle urgent customer orders and prioritize critical shipments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the management from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Languages Required: Proficiency in English and Malay. Japanese speaker is an added advantage
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing planning, supply chain, or production control, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP, and MRP systems.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Experience in lean manufacturing and process optimization is an advantage.
