Job Summary:

We are seeking a Power Solution Quality Engineer to assist in product development and validation of server power supplies and related products. The individual will work cross-departmentally and support product managers as needed in product development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Drive quality improvement processes and issue resolution.
  • Plan and coordinate TQM projects.
  • Understand IQC processes, AQL standards, and component testing methods.
  • Have general knowledge of PCBA processes including SMT, DIP, Assembly, Testing, and Packing.
  • Familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards and troubleshooting PCBA quality issues is preferred.
  • Analyze production failure data, coordinate with departments, generate improvement reports, and assess corrective actions.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for defects and implement preventive corrective actions.
Technical Skills:
  • Audit Techniques (Internal and Supplier Audits)
  • SOP/WI Establishment and Improvement
  • Improvement Tools (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa Diagram)
  • Process Analysis and Optimization (Value Stream Mapping, Process Mapping)
  • Quality Inspection Processes (IQC, IPQC, FQC, OQC)
  • Sampling Plans (MIL-STD-105E, AQL)
  • Defect Analysis (Short Circuit, Cold Solder, Misalignment, Scratches)
  • Measurement Tools (Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge)
  • Test Equipment (LCR Meter, Hi-pot Tester)
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Computer, or Communication Engineering, or related diploma with experience.
  • Approximately 5 years of experience in Electrical, Computer, or Communication fields.
  • About 3 years of hands-on experience in customer support, quality, or product testing engineering.
  • Knowledge of quality tools, statistics, and problem-solving techniques is advantageous.
  • Experience with microelectronics and surface mount technology is a plus.
