Michael Page is looking for a Finance Analyst to provide subject matter expertise for finance systems in Kuala Lumpur. The successful candidate will support finance users and processes, and interact with various teams to ensure seamless service.

Qualifications

Job Description

The key responsibilities will include:

• Provide subject matter expertise for Finance systems (ERP, SAP, PeopleSoft, Hyperion Suite, Essbase) in support of Finance users and processes ("record to report" and "plan to project").
• Provide subject matter expertise for Power Platforms (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Understand business impact and escalates unresolved incidents to second level support, IT or management in a timely fashion.
• Participates in assignments or projects of a routine or non-routine
• May assist in Developing business requirements, documenting procedures & processes, and testing as a subject matter expert
• May guide the activities of entry-level staff members.
• Interacts with internal and external customers.
• Partner with peers both in region and globally to ensure seamless service and escalation, uniformity of processes, and continued encouragement of process improvement and LEAN initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Analyst should have:

• Ideally some exposure to Workday financial modules and related systems (not mandatory)
• Experience in supporting & troubleshooting finance software system or Power Platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• A degree in finance, accounting, computer science or a related field.
• Familiarity with financial processes within the banking and financial services sector.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various teams.
