Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Malaysia is seeking a Product Engineer to own products from New Product Introduction through manufacturing release, driving yield, test optimization, and cost reduction for Power IC and Discrete devices.

You will collaborate with OSAT, Business Units, Operations, Quality, and Test Engineering to resolve manufacturing challenges, improve product quality and reliability, and ensure manufacturability in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in semiconductor product engineering, yield enhancement, quality and reliability improvement, and test methodologies.
• Strong analytical, project leadership, and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Knowledge of power devices and semiconductor manufacturing processes; statistical problem-solving techniques.

Responsibilities

• Own products from NPI through manufacturing release, driving yield, test optimization and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with OSAT, BUs, Operations, Quality and Test Engineering to resolve manufacturing challenges.
• Lead quality and reliability improvements and ensure manufacturability for Power IC and Discrete products.
• Work with customers on product quality improvements and zero-defect goals.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, yield improvements and defect reduction with cross-functional teams.
• Support test transfer and ensure proper procedures and quality standards are met.
• Participate in zero-defect product launch programs for new technologies.
