About Us

Dyson has an opportunity for power electronics engineers at varying levels to join the highly successful Power Electronics and Energy Storage group. This multidisciplinary team is responsible for developing Dyson Digital Motors and Lithium-Ion battery management systems. Dyson Digital Motors are small, lightweight, yet powerful, powering handheld vacuum cleaners and Dyson hair care products. Our battery management systems provide high-power energy sources for cordless and robot products. We are expanding our Power Electronics capability in SEA.

About The Role
  • Create and implement world-leading designs for high-quality products.
  • Design mains and battery-powered electronics to meet global requirements.
  • Develop, test, and document designs using best engineering practices.
  • Actively contribute ideas and innovations.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure effective project delivery.
About You
  • Degree or equivalent in electronic engineering or a related discipline.
  • Graduating by August 2025.
  • Interest in electronic design industry or similar environment.
  • Experience in designing electronic circuitry, motor drives, inverters, SMPS, or power electronics products.
  • Knowledge of Battery Management Systems and secondary battery technologies is a plus.
  • Ability to work and communicate within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to convey complex ideas to diverse experts.
  • Knowledge of electronics circuit simulation and analysis.
  • Proficiency with PCB/schematic capture tools.
  • Ability to interpret schematic diagrams and PCB layouts.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and independence or teamwork capability.
  • Innovative problem solver with a creative mindset.
