We are seeking a talented Power BI Developer to join our dynamic team at SKILL QUOTIENT RESOURCES SDN. BHD.'. As a Power BI Developer, you will play a crucial role in transforming data into actionable insights for our clients. This is a contract position based in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur, offering the flexibility to work on exciting projects from the comfort of your own workspace.

What you'll be doing

Design and develop robust Power BI dashboards, reports and data visualisations to meet the evolving needs of our clients

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions

Implement advanced Power BI features such as data modelling, DAX calculations, and custom visuals

Optimise data processing and performance to ensure seamless user experience

Provide technical guidance and support to end-users, helping them maximise the value of Power BI

Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI trends, tools and best practices to continuously improve our solutions

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar data visualisation role

Proficient in creating complex Power BI dashboards, reports and data models

Solid understanding of data modelling, DAX, and Power Query

Experience in integrating Power BI with various data sources, including relational databases, cloud-based platforms, and APIs

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data-related issues

Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders

Familiarity with agile development methodologies and project management tools
