Job description

To ensure smooth operation and support of the Point of Sale (POS) systems across all retail outlets nationwide. This includes maintaining system stability, resolving issues promptly, supporting new store rollouts, and ensuring POS-related data such as pricing, promotions, and SKUs are up-to-date and accurate.

Key Responsibilities

· - Provide first-line support for POS system issues reported by retail outlets.

· - Monitor data synchronization between outlet POS and central system; troubleshoot failed uploads.

· - Coordinate POS setup, testing, and deployment for new store openings or hardware replacements.

· - Ensure timely and accurate updates of product information, pricing, and promotions in the POS system.

· - Support integration between POS and backend systems such as SAP B1 and inventory systems.

· - Log, track, and resolve support tickets related to POS using internal Helpdesk system.

· - Collaborate with vendors on POS software bugs, updates, and enhancements.

· - Provide training to new outlet staff or refresher sessions on POS operations and procedures.

· - Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for POS software updates or new features.

· - Document SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and maintain inventory records of POS hardware.

· - Participate in weekend or after-hours support during peak seasons or campaigns.

Qualifications & Experience

· - Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

· - 1–3 years of experience in POS system support or IT helpdesk in a retail/FMCG environment.

· - Familiar with retail operations and cashier workflows is an advantage.

Technical Skills

· - Hands-on experience with POS platforms (e.g., Panda POS System)

· - Basic troubleshooting skills in Windows OS, printers, barcode scanners, cash drawers, and networking.

· - Exposure to SAP Business One or inventory systems is an added advantage.

· - Knowledge of Excel and basic SQL for data review and analysis.
