Job summary

An international organization in Putrajaya is seeking a Population & Development Consultant to enhance policy advocacy related to low fertility and population ageing. You will coordinate projects, engage with government and ASEAN stakeholders, and provide technical input for evidence-based policies. An advanced degree in relevant fields along with at least 2 years of experience is required. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is a must.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in programme management, monitoring, and coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of population and development trends, demographic analysis, and ageing issues.
  • Experience working with government and multi-stakeholder partners.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate implementation of PD and ageing programmes with partners.
  • Support the ASEAN Forum on Population Dynamics.
  • Contribute to the 2026–2030 Country Programme Action Plan (CPAP).
  • Advocate for demographic data integration into national systems.
