SD Guthrie Berhad is seeking a reliable driver to transport personnel and goods in a corporate setting. You will operate company vehicles including a corporate bus, ensuring timely and safe service while upholding traffic laws and company policies.

The ideal candidate holds a PSV Bus licence, CDL class E, and a clean driving record, with proven experience in pool car environments. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Malaysian driving licence with clean record.

• Safely and efficiently transport personnel and goods for SD Guthrie Berhad.

• Transport employees, clients, and materials to designated locations promptly.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Maintain records of mileage, fuel usage, and transportation activities.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods when required.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, passengers, and team members.
• Handle road incidents with professionalism and sound judgment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to all company safety procedures and protocols.

• Conduct routine inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition, reporting any maintenance issues or defects.

• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and transportation activities.

• Assist with loading and unloading goods as required.

• Communicate effectively with dispatch, passengers, and other team members.

• Handle unexpected situations or problems on the road with professionalism and sound judgment.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Valid Malaysian Licence competent driving Licence (CDL) class E.

• Valid PSV (Public Service Vehicle) Licence - Bus.

• Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a corporate or pool car setting.

• Excellent verbal communication skills to interact with passengers and colleagues clearly.

• Ability to anticipate and evaluate potential road hazards or logistical challenges.

• Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics and routine maintenance.

• Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns.

• Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethics.
