Summary
Responsible for policy and certificate benefits operational support, business process analysis, approval of benefits payments as authorized, and other responsibilities or duties periodically assigned by the supervisor to meet operational and/or other requirements.
Key Tasks & Accountabilities
- Participate in system enhancement, process improvement, and digital projects. Role and responsibilities include:
- Liaise and coordinate with superiors and IT or system support teams.
- Assist superiors in project meetings.
- Assist in preparing system/business requirements and reviewing business processes.
- Prepare test scripts and perform User Acceptance Testing.
- Prepare sign-off documents from stakeholders.
- Prepare implementation sign-off documents.
- Assist in monitoring the results.
Perform all activities with reasonable quality, performance, and within the agreed timeline.Review and recommend measures to improve existing processes and systems.Perform data analysis and presentations to support business decisions.Conduct quality checks or sampling reviews as per the Quality Assurance Framework and update management reports monthly.Establish and update guidelines, working instructions, and standard operating procedures.Support processing of benefits requests (surrender, withdrawal, cancellation, loan, and other payments) and approve within the authority limit assigned.Ensure that timelines and objectives, as agreed with superiors, for any assignments or projects are met or exceeded.Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in the insurance industry.
- Knowledge of insurance, proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, IT literacy, and proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to work independently without supervision and communicate effectively at all levels.
